About Me

I'm a mountain girl from West Virginia but have lived here in Florida since 1985.  I guess I call Florida home now, but I still stay true to my roots!

I absolutely love photography!  My passions are Weddings, Black & White, Landscapes, Nature, Portraits, & Wildlife.
There is nothing like capturing the innocence of a toddler running around and just having fun or the love that is witnessed between a man and a woman on their special day!  I have two children of my own that keep me inspired on a daily basis.  I am all about using natural light.  I enjoy finding unique and old settings for on location sessions.  During our portrait session, rarely will you have to sit and just smile for the camera.  Nothing stuffy here.  It’s about creating your story and cherishing it forever…..

Other interesting facts:

I love the Lord and give thanks to him everyday for my business. He places people in our lives for a reason and I'm honored that he uses me through the use of my camera......

I'm a health nut, well I try to be.  I enjoy sharing with others to eat real food!

I'm a homesteader!  I raise chickens and pigs, love to garden, sewing, canning, getting down in the dirt - these are just a few of things I do in my spare time!  Last year I started a blog called Little House Simple Living where I share that anyone can be a homesteader!  I also inspire and encourage others to live a simple life!  You can read all about it - Little House Simple Living

I enjoy hiking, anything crafty, party planning, spending time with my wonderful hubby and children, cooking, baking and oh, of course antiquing! I just started with Chalky & Co. (Eek!).  Check it out!

I served on the board of the Cassia Community Club for six years and was the Treasurer for three years, resigning as of this year.  I love giving back to the community, but I decided to take a break and give someone else a turn.  I'm still involved on an as needed basis.

On top of all this, I HomeSchool my 2 wonderful teenagers.  Did I just say that?  Just kidding....my daughter graduates this year and my son is in 10th grade.  I couldn't ask for two better kids, really I can't.
